Flier girls celebrate senior players

It was Senior Night last Thursday when the Fliers hosted a tough Madison squad and were shut out, but they still celebrated the efforts and show appreciation to the four players who have helped lead them this season . FLANDREAU – The Flier girls were shut out by Class A #1 ranked Madison on Thursday during Senior Night.
The Fliers were held to one hit, a double by Ady Krull.
The Fliers got a road win over the ORR Raiders, Monday, May 11 picking up the game in big fashion, 27-5. ORR committed nine errors to aid the Fliers in their victory.
The Fliers smashed out 14 hits including three home runs off the bats of Grace Quick, Ady Krull and Tricia Roy. Krull and Roy both had five RBI and Schepel doubled in the game as well.
In the circle, Nora Hamilton pitched all four innings giving up five runs off five hits, striking out seven and walking only one Raider.
This week, Flandreau was at Beresford on Monday, Chester on Tuesday and are set to host Baltic Friday. The Big East Conference Tourney will be Saturday, May 23 at Beresford.
