November 29-Save the Date

The Flandreau Holiday Parade Committee is gearing up for the November holiday parade and has added some more fun to the days events.
This years parade will be held on Saturday, November 29 with the theme, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Along with the Grinches that will be hiding around town for you to find, and the Letters to Santa, the committee will be adding a coloring contest for the youth and a house decorating contest for the adults, and a live nativity for both.
They may not be done with new additions as some more may be coming.
Another change will be the parade route. Parade entries can still line up beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will leave at 6 p.m. from the south side of the Moody County Courthouse. The route heads west one block, then north two blocks and then travels east on Second Avenue (main street). But, it will go around a few blocks and come back through in reverse so folks on both sides of the street will able to view both sides of the parade entries.
Keep watching here for more updates that well post as we get them.
