As we resume operations under new ownership at the Moody County Enterprisewith only a few minor changes to the paper youve come to know and trust for nearly 150 yearswe want to share a quick update.
Many of you have reached out with questions about subscriptions and advertising, both of which are critical to sustaining the long-term viability of any community publication. Were deeply grateful for that support.
At the moment, the online/digital subscription link on our website is inactive while ownership transitions are finalized. Our capabilities to take debit or credit cards over the phone are also inactive.
For now, anyone wishing to start or renew a mailed subscription can do so by mailing a check directly to:

If you received a statement from the Enterprise in early August for advertising charges made in July or the first week of August, we kindly ask that you take care of those balances to help close out accounts with the previous ownership. You can call the office most mornings to confirm what that balance, through August 6, 2025, might be.
Please note that charges dated August 21 and August 28 will be billed separately under our new ownership, Champion Media.
While we navigate a new normal for us, with our new company and new publication date of Thursday, our normal office hours have not been announced yet although you can almost always catch someone there from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. or so every day. New hours will be posted once we have them set.
