Flandreau Volunteer firefighters responded to their first call out of the new Fire Station location on Wednesday, June 5. An abandoned home just north of the intersection at 477th Avenue and 232nd Street caught fire after wind carried sparks from a burn pit. Damage was done to the west side of the home. Both Colman and Trent fire departments assisted.
