COLMAN Colman-Egan picked up its first football win of the season needing overtime to get the edge on the Sioux Falls Lutheran Eagles, 32-26, on Fritz Field last Friday.
Sioux Falls Lutheran has been in the Class 9B polls recently in the receiving votes list.
The teams closed regulation play knotted in a 26-all tie, and the Hawks prevailed in overtime scoring on their drive while denying the Eagles the endzone.
The Hawks got in the endzone once in the first quarter, twice in the third and once in the fourth quarter coming from behind to tie the game. The Eagles scored six points in the second quarter and 20 in the third quarter.
The Hawks solely used Hayden Pearson for his footwork as he gathered up 198 rushing yards on 34 carries and scored four touchdowns.
Quarterback Zach Pederson had 22 yards off 10 keepers.

Colman-Egan, 1-3, travels to Estelline to face the 3-1 Estelline/Hendricks Redhawks this Friday. Kick off is 7 p.m.
