The upcoming Nonpolitical Primary Election Ballot on June 4th may seem sparse, but it holds crucial decisions for voters.
You will be asked to select the Democratic Candidate for President, the State Senator for District 25 (encompassing all of Moody County), and a Trustee for the Town of Trent.
In Trent, voters will choose between Kathy Baty and Jami Alberts for the lone seat on the board.
Meanwhile, Jordan Youngberg is challenging incumbent State Senator Tom Pischke for his current seat.
The Democratic presidential candidates on the ballot are Marianne Williamson, Joseph Biden Jr., Dean Phillips, and Armando Perez-Serrato.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., so that there is ample opportunity for you to cast a ballot.
For voters unsure of their polling location, log onto the Secretary of States Website at https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx. All Moody County locations are also listed on page seven with the public notices.
