Local legislators invited to Feb. 14 Crackerbarrel

If you’ve been interested to visit with or hear directly from District 25 state legislators about priorities in PIerre this session, now may be the time.
A legislative Crackerbarrel is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, at 9 a.m. at the Flandreau City Office.
All three area legislators have been invited to take part in the informal discussion, which will focus on highlights from this year’s legislative session, their priorities in Pierre, and issues affecting our local communities.
The format is designed to encourage conversation, questions, and open dialogue between attendees and those representing us at the state level.
Crackerbarrels are free and open to the public and are intended to provide a relaxed, accessible way for all to stay informed and engaged in the legislative process.
Locally, Tom Pischke represents the area in the South Dakota Senate, while Jon Hansen, who has launched a campaign for Governor, and Les Heinemann serve in the House. All three legislators have been invited to attend and take part in the discussion.
