Rosella E. Pavel, age 79 of Bellevue, NE passed away on Sept. 27, 2018 at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, NE after a bravely fought battle against Pancreatic Cancer
Rosella Emily (Wiese) Pavel was born on December 3, 1938 on a farm northwest of Flandreau, SD to Robert Paul Wiese, Sr. and Gertie Anna Catherina (Peper) Wiese.  She attended grade school at Tidd School District #42 and high school at Flandreau High School graduating with the Class of 1956.  After graduation, she moved with her parents to a farm at Rushmore, MN.  She worked at Farmers Union Coop in Luverne, MN for two years and then worked at Fairmont Railway Motor, Inc. in Fairmont, MN for five years.
   In 1963, she began schooling at Automation Institute in Omaha until 1964 when she graduated.  During her time at Automation Institute, she worked a Cudahay Meat Packing Co.
On December 27, 1964, she was united in marriage to Norman E. Pavel at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairmont, MN.  They moved to Columbus, NE where they lived for six years.  In 1971, they moved to North Platte, NE where they lived for 27 years and raised their daughters.  They later moved to Kearney, NE in 1998 and to Beaver Lake in 2005 to be close to their grandchildren.  Most recently, they lived in Bellevue, NE since February of 2012.
Rosella worked for Hoover’s Jewelry in North Platte, NE for some 20 years as their bookkeeper.  She taught Sunday School at First Lutheran Church in North Platte and served on the Downtown Association.
She is survived by her husband Norman Pavel of Bellevue, NE; her daughters:  Tammy Gaden (Thomas) of Omaha, NE and Traci Anthens (John) of Nebr. City, NE; six grandchildren:  Grant Gaden, Will Gaden, Garrett Anthens (Audrey), Jacob Anthens, Mackenzie Anthens and Levi Anthens; a great-granddaughter Charlie; sister Roberta Garbers (Marvin) of Sherburn, MN; sister in law: Jackie Wiese of Sioux Falls, SD; brother in law: Adolph Pavel (Linde) of New Hampshire; three nieces:  Brenda Lovhaug (Dave) of Minneapolis, MN, Marla Kay Anderson (Cliff) of Sherburn, MN and Brenda Pavel of Gorham, NH; other family and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Wiese, Jr., a niece Deanna Garbers and a great niece Laura Lovhaug.
Her funeral service was held October 6 at Thanksgiving Lutheran Church in Bellevue, NE with Pastor Glenn Harless officiating. Inurnment will be in the Clarkson National Cemetery at Clarkson, NE.   
Memorials may be given to the Josie Harper Hospice House, Thanksgiving Lutheran Church or the Deanna Garbers Scholarship Fund.
