Loren G. Moller, 61, of Trent, SD, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his home in Trent, SD.
Loren was born July 31, 1956 in Dell Rapids, SD to Melvin and Mercedes (Sagness) Moller. He attended school in Egan, SD, graduating from Egan High School in 1974. He moved to Minneapolis and worked at Arrow Tank as a welder. Loren married Sharryl Carney on September 11, 1976 in Minneapolis. They moved to Trent in 1977 and Loren worked for L.G. Everist for forty years.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids and was a volunteer fireman for the Trent Fire Department for over twenty years. Loren enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandkids. He had to be doing something constantly. Loren always had the gift to talk to others and was always concerned with others rather than himself.
Loren is survived by his wife: Sharryl; two daughters: Charity (Daniel) Bergheim, Sioux Falls and Chassidy (Chris) Glover, Howard City, MI; three grandchildren: Hailie Glover, Carsten and Reagan Bergheim; special niece: Kimberly Hemmer; two sisters: Gwen Jurgens, Rapid City, SD and Marlene Westover, Isle, MN and one brother: Louie (Sheila) Moller, Ramsey, MN.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Merle Westover and Butch Jurgens.
His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. www.skrochfc.com
