Fire destroyed a barn owned by Shannon and Jean Pulscher northwest of Flandreau on Thursday, January 25.
The call came in about 2:30 from neighbors Allen Larson and Daron Christenson who noticed smoke coming from the building when they were moving cattle.
The barn was mostly full of feed hay. Shannon Pulscher said the cattle were out in the lot and none were harmed.
The Flandreau, Colman, Trent and Elkton fire departments responded, but the barn is a loss.
