Flandreau girls softball dominated on the diamond in recent action winning over Clark/Wilow Lake at home and then got two on the road at Garretson.

FLANDREAU – The Fliers made quick work of the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones on Tuesday, May 5 winning 14-4 in a five inning game.
Aly Schepel pitched all five innings giving up only two hits, four walks and striking out eight.
The Fliers were never threatened as they jumped out to a four run first inning, added two runs in the second and added four more in each of the final two innings.
Grace Quick had the hot bat hitting two home runs with seven RBI and scored four runs to lead her team. She also had a triple and a single along with a double off the bat of Addy Hammer.
Freshmen Ady Krull also added three RBI for the Fliers.
Garretson Triangular
GARRETSON – The Fliers were on the road playing in a triangular at Garretson with Parker and host Blue Dragons and won in a couple of high scoring affairs.
The Fliers won over Garretson 25-17 and over Parker 23-10.
The Fliers blasted out 39 hits while holding their opponents to 14.
Grace Quick had a home run, two triples and a double for six RBI to lead her team. Adding in a trio of triples and a double was Nora Hamilton who also made six RBI.
Other extra base hits came from Ady Krull with a triple and a pair of doubles, a three-base hit from Makenzie Gregory and a double each from Tricia Roay, Aly Schepel and Rory Thielsen.
From the circle, Hamilton and Scheple pitched giving up the 14 hits.
