FAHOF to inductee athletes/contributors on Sunday, July 5

Will join with Crystal Theatre to host a Talent Show

The 4th Annual Flandreau Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held Sunday, July 5 in the Royal Room at the Royal River Casino.
The FAHOF committee has finalized the 2026 inductees which will include a team of excellence, seven individual athletes, and two contributors/builders.
Inductees include the Flandreau High School 1992 State Class B Golf Champions with team members Shane Bisson, Matt Johnson, Jester Nester and Todd McKeown.
Individuals include the Nelson brothers of Terry FHS ‘75, Tim FHS ‘77 and Tom FHS ‘79, Graydon Dailey FHS ‘73, Randy Oldenkamp FHS ‘75, Derek Burshiem FHS ’76 and Dennis Danforth, Jr. FIS ‘76.
Contributors inducted will include the late Dr. BT Otey and Jackie Bird, FIS Class of Jackie Bird, FIS 85.
Tickets for the public may be acquired as in previous years. $30 each – we prefer VENMO- or you may drop off check or cash at the Zephier home; email [email protected] with questions.
The event will begin at 2:30 pm that day with the setting up of memorabilia display and then a social gathering which is open to the public begins at 3:30 pm. The dinner will be served at 5 pm and the induction ceremony starts at 6 pm.

Get your Act Together!
The FAHOF, partnering with the Crystal Theatre Cultural Association, will conduct a Talent Contest on June 17 & 18 & 20 at the Crystal Theatre.
“Talent Showcase at the Crystal” will have cash prizes. June 17 and 18 will be audition nights for up to 15 acts each night. Depending on interest, 8-12 acts will move on to the finals on Saturday, June 20. Applications will be accepted from acts in a 60-mile radius around Flandreau. Nonrefundable $20 entry fee will apply. Up to 5 minutes per act. Variety is encouraged.
If necessary, the Crystal Theatre will be available for rehearsal on Sunday, June 14. Performances will take place 7-9 pm each night of competition.
