BROOKINGS – Flandreau Public and Indian School and Colman-Egan all participated in the Flandreau Invitational held Monday, April 20 in Brookings.
In the boys division, Estelline won the team honors and Flandreau Public came in 11th. Colman-Egan and Flandreau Indian School did not qualify in the team standings.
Medalist on the day was Lars Tvedt with a two over par score of 74. (Unknown school)
FIS’s Kaden Burshiem shot a seven over par 79 to place second.
The Fliers’ top golfer was Hunter Bushkofsky with an 86 to come in 12th. He was followed by Jett Ramsdell and Bryson LeBrun who shot 104 and 105 respectively.
For the Hawks’ Landon Preheim turned in a score of 95.
On the girls side, Allie Hanson of Dell Rapids St. Mary was medalist shooting a 79 to lead her group to the team win.
The Hawk girls came in sixth. Mauryn Landis was the top Hawk golfer with a 99 for 17th place. Respectively, Paityn Heiter was 25th at 104 and Aspen Clark was 27th with a 105.
The Fliers lone female golfer was Madison Bushkofsky who took third place with an 89.
CHESTER – Tuesday, Colman-Egan golfers were in Chester. Mauryn Landis golfed to a 5th place and Paityn Heiter took 13th. There were no other stats available.
