Softball team helps deliver Easter across town

Team fills and delivers 600 eggs

The Easter Bunny showed up this past weekend — just a lot more bundled up than he might have wanted.
Temperatures hovered just above freezing and snowflakes drifted through the air over the course of Saturday, making this year’s helpers all the more appreciated.
The day before Easter, members of the Flandreau Girls Softball team stepped in for the Easter Bunny, providing and hiding eggs in nearly two dozen yards across the community. The eggs were pre-stuffed and delivered as part of a fundraiser supporting the program.
Filling the eggs at left are Aly Schepel, Elodie Amdahl, Makenzie Gregory, Brinley Chamblin and Maizie Hemmer.

Below at left, out delivering are from left, Patricia Roy, Zaeda Ross, Serenity Zephier, Layla Perry, Ari Duncan and Rylee Allen.
At right, some eggs were left by the door while others were hidden in yards.
