Steakhouse now CLOSED

After decades of serving up some of the region’s best steaks and offering a place for locals to gather, Mad Mary’s will close after more than 30 years in business.
Owner Christina Ramos announced the decision in a recent Facebook post, sharing gratitude for a career that began as a server at the restaurant and continued over the past eight years as its owner and operator.
Ramos said she has made the difficult decision to close the doors permanently, while still holding out hope that the right person may eventually step forward to purchase the legendary steakhouse and carry on its legacy in some form.
The final day of business will be April 4, the day before Easter. (The steakhouse was in limited supply of items for the kitchen and closed on March 31.)
“A very special thank you to my amazing staff — your hard work, dedication and heart are what made Mad Mary’s what it is today. I couldn’t have done this without you, and I am forever grateful.”
More on the closure, community reaction, the search for a new owner and what’s next for Ramos will be featured in a future edition.
