Hawks no match for Hawks

COLMAN – The Hawk boys used 52 percent field goal shooting to top the Canistota Hawks, 60-18 on Friday, February 20.
Twenty-four of those points came from the work of Caden Zwart who was 10 of 16 from field goal range and 3 of 4 from beyond the arc.
Logan Claflin also scored nine points for Colman-Egan and Julian Allen made 10 rebounds and gave away seven assists. Landen McManus was 5 for 5 for nine points.
Colman-Egan raced out to a 19-3 first quarter lead and added another 19 in the second quarter to Canistota’s seven. CE poured in another 23 second half points while Canistota had to settle for eight in both quarters.
As a team, the Hawks outrebounded the visitors, 39-27.
