Girls move mark to perfect 18-0

Doubleheaders were on tap for the Colman-Egan basketball team last week traveling to Howard and then hosting Deubrook Area.
The girls picked up wins number 17 and 18 while the boys team has lost 10 of their last 11 games and falls to a season mark of 5-12.
Girls vs. Howard
HOWARD – Keeping with their winning ways, the girls team won over the Tigers, 46-27. Stats were not received for this game by deadline.
Boys vs. Howard
The Hawks were in it until the end when Howard finished with a 45-42 win.
Colman-Egan outscored the Tigers in each quarter except the second when they could only manage five points.
After one, they led 12-8, but fell behind at the half, 22-17. After three quarters, the score was 34-30.
The Hawks outshot the Tigers, 36 to 34 percent, but could only hit 1 of 14 in 3-point shots.
The Hawks used six players in the scoring column with Caden Zwart leading the effort with 15. Nine each came from Westyn Pearson and Julian Allen. Pearson pulled down nine of the Hawks rebounds.
Girls vs. Deubrook
The girls picked up win number 18 on their home court Friday, February 13 to remain undefeated on the season winning 66-56.
No other stats were given by deadline.
Boys vs. Deubrook
The Deubrook boys team defeated the Hawks, 79-32. Full stats were not available by deadline.
