FREEMAN – Colman-Egan girls stayed the course and picked up a one-point win over the Freeman Flyers Saturday, 48-47, to keep their season recorded unblemished at 16-0.
The Hawks found themselves in unfamiliar territory this year being down after a three quarters of play.
The Flyers led after one quarter 13-11 and held that at the half to 28-22. When the third period ended, the Hawks were down by two, 34-32. They took over and outscored the Flyers 16-13 in the final quarter to pick up their win.
Jolie Flatten made 13 points followed up by 10 each from Quinn Meyer and Mya Reiff.
