Lee to run at State B

IRENE Isabelle Lee of Colman-Egan will be running in her first State Class B cross country meet on Saturday, October 25.
At the Region 2B girls meet held Wednesday, October 15 at Glenridge Golf Course near Irene, Lee was in the chute in 22:30.13 placing her ninth.
Her teammate, Landrie Hahn, just missed moving onto state as she ran to 23rd place in a time of 24:24.21. The top 20 individuals in each region and the top three teams are awarded a spot in the state race.
Chester Areas Emmerson Eppard won the girls Region 2B title running the 5000 meter course in a time of 20:40.58.
