BERESFORD In the lone game of the week, the Flier volleyball team lost in three sets to Beresford, 13-25, 15-25 and 21-25.
Rhegan Sheppard had five kills, Ella Hoffman, four and Hannah Krull, three. Setting them up were Nora Hamilton with nine and Aly Schepel with six. Ady Hammer dug up 25 digs and Schepel had 10.
At the service line, Hamilton and Elaina Bushkofsy both had a pair of aces.
The Fliers were to host Dig Pink night Tuesday against undefeated Clark/Willow Lake. The Cyclones are ranked fourth in Class A polls.
Next Tuesday, they host Parker-Marion.
