The Colman-Egan Hawks took their second loss of the season moving their record to 12-2 after a weeks worth of action.
Vs. Canistota
CANISTOTA The kills were plenty as the Hawks racked up 25 from two players in a big defeat over the Canistota Hawks on Sept. 23.
Brynlee Landis had 15 and Caelee LeBrun, 10 kills, in the 25-16, 25-19, 25-15 three set win.
Assisting in most of them was Finley Luze with 18 set assists. Luze added six digs and Landis, five.
Michoen Williamson had three blocks-two of them solo as did Luze.
Serving up six unanswered serves was Kinley Geigle while LeBrun served up five aces.
Vs. Gayville-Volin
COLMAN Once again only three sets were needed as the Hawks defeated GAyville-Volin, 26-24, 25-17 and 25-23.
Landis had 11 kills, 12 digs and three ace serves. Luze made 13 assists, eight kills and four blocks, one solo. At the net, LeBrun made seven kills, assisted in four blocks and took eight digs. Williamson was in on four blocks while Mya Reiff, three.
At Pentagon
SIOUX FALLS Colman-Egan played at the Sanford Pentagon and faced a fierce foe in Rapid City Christian losing in a pair of sets but defeated Platte-Geddes in two sets.
Scores against the Comets were 25-27 and 18-25. Against the Black Panthers, they were 25-17 and 25-20.
