Russ Bothern, age 78

Russell J. Russ, age 78 of Mound, MN passed away Sept. 3, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents Walter & Grace, in-laws, George (Loki) & Lorraine Lundgren.
Russ enjoyed snowmobiling, coaching softball, running the Babe Ruth baseball concession stand and helping family and friends with anything. He retired in 2013 and continued helping anyone and everyone.
Survived by wife of 52 years, Sandy; son Cole (Vicki Kalogerson); daughter, Kerri Bothern and 5 grandchildren, Dominick, Peyton, Savannah, Emmett & Kayla; 2 brothers Jerry & Lawrence (Deb); many nieces, nephews relatives and friends including some in Moody County.
His Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm at River Valley/Crosstown Church, 10801 Red Circle Drive, Minnetonka, MN 55343. A reception will be held after the service.
