Mousel starts off fall rodeo with big win

Colman-Egan graduate Josie Mousel, who attends the University of Wyoming, is again having an incredible fall rodeo season in the Central Rocky Mountain Region. She brought home all-around cowgirl honors at Rustler Roundup hosted by Central Wyoming College in Riverton this past weekend. Mousel won both rounds and the average tying goats to attain the maximum 180 points possible.
It feels good to be back in Laramie after the summer at home, said Mousel.
I came back to school with a fire lit under me after placing second in the region last year and having a good college finals. I have my goals set high for the upcoming rodeos and have my eyes set on a chance at goat tying national championship. I am thankful that my horses are working great and I cant wait to hopefully keep the ball rolling. The University of Wyoming womens rodeo team has won the last 2 rodeos and Im grateful I can help lead them, Mousel added.
