Hawks homecoming win dashed by DRSM

COLMAN Class 9B third rated Dell Rapids St. Marys spoiled the homecoming celebration for Colman-Egan Friday night at Fritz Field, 54-6.
The Hawks got on the board against the Cardinals with a touchdown in the third quarter.
Zach Pederson was the quarterback for the Hawks and completed three passes for 37 yards. Logan Claflin caught two passes earning 24 yards including a 17 yard touchdown, and Hayden Pearson, one for eight.
On the ground, the Hawks Pederson picked up 37 yards and Pearson had 29.
On defense, Dalin Billmeier had eight tackles with three for loss and Claflin and Mason Wright each had six.
The Cardinals, who have only given up two touchdowns in four games, were the third team in the ratings the Hawks have seen this season as they now have an 0-3 record.
