The Hawks opened the volleyball season with a loss to Class A Baltic and then topped Arlington on Tuesday night.
COLMAN In a game with a lot of scoring, it would finish with Baltic on top, 3-1, last Thursday, Aug. 28 in Colman.
The Bulldogs topped the Hawks, 18-25, 22-25, 25-20, 23-25.
Senior Brynlee Landis amased 18 kills, 17 digs and two aces. Finley Luze finished with three serving aces, 13 digs and handles all the sets with 27 assists.
Caelee LeBrun added in 11 kills, 13 digs and two blocks.
Michoen Williamson led in blocking with four.
ARLINGTON The Hawks won at Arlington on Tuesday. Scores were 21-25. 25-22, 25-22 and 25-17. No other stats were received.
Thursday, the girls are at DeSmet and return home on Tuesday, Sept. 9 against Estelline/Hendricks.
