Hawk Homecoming festivities set

Homecoming is set for next week, September 8-12 at Colman-Egan Schools. The senior class has selected the following classmates for King and Queen candidates. They are back, Preston Meyer, Thomas Loehr, Julian Allen and Hayden Pearson. Front, Sadie McCorkle, Brynlee Landis, Sarah Voelker and Aneesa McGuire. Junior Attendants are Quinn Meyer and Caden Zwart and Crown Bearers are Laikyn Landis and Connor Headrick.
Coronation is set for Monday, September 8 at 7 pm starting with Class Skits. Following this it will be flag football with all 9-12th graders participating. The week will include the volleyball team hosting Estelline/Hendricks and the cross country team running at Garretson on Tuesday, and the Hawk football team hosting Dell Rapids St. Mary on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Earlier in the day is the parade beginning at 2 pm with a rousing pep rally to follow at 2:30 pm.
Dress up days for the week are: Monday-Class Color Day; Tuesday-Dress like staff or student; Wednedsay-Ages; Thursday-Class Movie Day and Friday as always-Spirit Day, dress in Hawk colors and gear.
