Jason and Kathy Heinemann of Flandreau have been selected as the 2025 Friend of Fair. The Heinemanns have been staples at the fair and in 4-H for many years, always supporting not only their children but other county 4-H members as well. Their commitment in 4-H extends from static exhibits to sheep and poultry. They both have been leaders with the Happy Youngsters 4-H club and Flandreau Shooting Sports. Their leadership and guidance has made the Moody County Fair what it is today, they live the 4-H motto To Make the Best Better! Presenting the award is Fair Board member Rachel Chamblin, at left.
