Lose season, home opener on gridiron

FLANDREAU Flandreau scored first but Deuel didnt allow anymore as the Fliers dropped the season opener to the Cardinals, 18-6.
Flandreaus lone score came from Jake Hamiltons 47-yard reception from the arm of quarterback Alex Poitra.
In the air, Poitra finished two of six on the night. On the ground, Justin Klein rushed for 25 yards on nine carries.
Defensively, Klein had 13 tackles and sacked the Cardinal quarterback twice. Kody Kneebone brought down nine tackles, one tackle for loss, a forced fumble and recovery.
The Fliers are at 0-1 Baltic. Kick off is 7 p.m.
