Donald H. Hasvold, age 85

Donald Harry Hasvold was born October 7, 1939, to Harlan and Viola(Colvin) Hasvold in Sioux Falls, SD and passed away on April 2, 2025 in Hospice care in Las Vegas, NV.
Donald was baptized and confirmed at Clare Lutheran Church near Flandreau, SD He attended a one room schoolhouse through 8th grade and attended Egan High school, graduating in 1957. He then joined the US Air Force and was honorably discharged at San Antonio, TX. Donald was then employed by IBM in Cheyenne, WY. He then started Wholesale TIre, which he owned for 35 years. After surviving Guillan-Barre syndrome, he moved to Laughlin, NV for more favorable weather.
Donald was preceded in death by Harlan, Viola, first wife Patricia, infant son Chad, sons Donald Ray and Alan Lee, sister in law Elizabeth Hasvold, and brother in law Larry Morrison.
He is survived by former wives Anna, and Sharon, children Brent, Carrie Hasvold Prevallete, Heather Hasvold, Genevieve Hasvold, grandchildren April, Caitlyn, Alexandria, Hannah, Cody, Ashlynn, Taylor, Madison, Blaze, Xaiden, Trey, Anya, and Drayke, great granchildren Braxton, Cayson, and Blakely.
A celebration of his life will be in summer 2025, inurnment in Clare cemetary, near Flandreau, SD.
