Dusk to Dawn Dance returning

Tickets are now on saleto the public for the 3rd Flandreau Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet/Induction Ceremony on July 6 at Royal River Casino. Cost is $30.
Anyone can attend the banquet and program but must pre-register at [email protected] and pay with VENMO or drop a check or cash off at Stuart Zephiers home in Flandreau.
The FAHOF Class of 2025 inductees are Denis Parsley, Martin Parsley-Wrestling; Ramona Zephier-Track and Field; Logan Olson-Rodeo; Coaches Syd Beane and DuWayne Groos, 1963 FIS Cross Country team and 1997 Flandreau Boys Basketball team.
The day before, Saturday, July 5, the committee is hosting the Tiger Open 4-person scramble. Watch for more details to come on that.
The FAHOF committee is also reviving the Dusk to Dawn Dance at the Japanese Gardens, Thursday, July 3.
Old Indian Trick will be providing the music and they play a variety of tunes from B.T.O. to Big and Rich to Gear Daddies. Details are still be worked on for shuttle service from town to the park.
The cost is set at $10 per person and $15 per couple.
Be sure to mark this on your calendar to hear and dance to some great local musicians and relive memories of previous Dusk to Dawn dances.
But before all this takes place, the FAHOF is hosting a 3-person scramble at Rivers Bend Golf Course. Cost is $180 a team ($60 each). The renting of a cart is extra and its noted that the number of carts to rent is limited.
Rivers Bend Golf members are encouraged to sign up for this fundraising event to aid the FAHOF. See the ad on page 10 of this edition for more information.
