Cardinals suffer big loss

FLANDREAU The Flandreau Cardinals used five different pitchers to try to stop the Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks, but it was to no available as the visitors dropped the locals in big fashion, 18-1.
Early season arms not quite in shape was the culprit.
Tison Burggraff threw well the first three innings, said Manager Bret Severtson.
We had a couple of guys gone and others arms were not in shape just yet. They threw strikes but, the Gamecocks hit them.
The Cardinals had six hits, all singles and JaColby Anderson had the lone RBI scoring Austin Koenig.
