FLANDREAU In a slower week for Flandreau Softball, the team hosted Oldham-Ramona/Rutland in a doubleheader on Monday, May 12 and then played Madison on Thursday.

In game one, the Fliers won 8-0, but stats were unavailable.
The second game found the Fliers also winning by a score of 8-6.
Nora Hamilton was the winning pitcher throwing 3.1 innings. She allowed four hits and six runs.
The Fliers only used four hits in the win and 19 stolen bases in the win. Singles were hit by Mackenzie Gregory, Hailieanne Schepel, Olivia Peters and Jacey Sundermeyer. At the plate, Hamilton walked three times.
Madison
The Flier faced Madison on Thursday in cool blustery and windy weather and the Bulldogs got the best of them. Flandreau lost 8-3.
Olivia Peters took the loss in the circle giving up nine hits, seven runs and striking out only two Bulldogs. Aly Schepel relieved her in the fifth and allowed one run.
From the batters box, Nora Hamilton, Peters and Addy Hammer each had a double. The Fliers had three other players hit singles, Rylee Allen, Sadie Iott and Hailieanne Schepel.
The Fliers now have a 10-8 season record.
Tuesday, they were to face Chester at home. Then they travel to Baltic on Friday and play in the Big East Conference Tourney Saturday in Beresford.
