The Flandreau Youth Wrestling Club will send 14 wrestlers, nine girls and five boys, to the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association State Tournament this weekend in Rapid City. Flandreau hosted the District 8 Tournament on March 8 and the top eight wrestlers in each weight division advanced to Region 4 action in Brookings on Saturday, March 15. From there, the top three in each weight division were awarded the opportunity to move on to state. Lets wish all these youth wrestlers good luck this weekend.

Colman Youth Wrestling will send several wrestlers to the event as well. Krew Meyer, 47#, will compete in boys 8U, Gus Tonneson, 56# and Braydin Giese, 82#, in boys 10U and Zach Pederson, 132#, in boys 16U along with Kendall Munk, 50#, girls 8U and Nora Heinricy, Hwt, girls 10U.
