Karen Gundvaldson, age 65

Karen (Trevithick) Gundvaldson was called home to the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Karen was born September 9, 1959 in St. Anthonys Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She received her education in Longmont and Niwot, Colorado. She moved to South Dakota and was employed at Farmers State Bank in Flandreau, S.D. She married Emmett Gundvaldson on August 21, 1981 and lived near Trent, S.D. and later moved to Flandreau where she worked for the City of Flandreau and then for J.D.S Enterprises in Sioux Falls, S.D. until retiring in March of 2024.
Karens natural generosity was demonstrated in many ways. She donated many quilts to charity and gifted hundreds of them.
Grateful for sharing her life are her loving husband Emmett, her father Pierre, her brother Mark and extended family and friends.
