Boys split on the home court

COLMAN Jase Mousel recorded his 1000th career point highlighting the Colman-Egan boys defeat over Chester Area, 63-30, but the Hawks lost to Estelline-Hendricks, 66-62 later in the week.
Both games were on the Hawks home court.
Tuesday, Feb. 11 was to be a double header hosting Howard and then Friday another one at Deubrook Area.

C-E 63, Chester 30
Mousel also nearly matched the Flyers total points as he pounded in 28 points in the win. He also made eight rebounds.
Caden and Jackson Zwart both scored 10 points and Taylor Kreich made nine. Jackson Zwart also gave away seven assists and had seven boards. Jack Mousel gave out five assists.
The Hawks were never threatened leading 19-6 after one quarter and 32-13 at the half. The scoring scontinued in the third quarter with the Hawks pouring in 24 points to Chesters 9. The Flyers did win the final frame, 9-8.
Chester shot a cool 25 percent in field goal shooting and the Hawks hit 53.

E-H 66, C-E 62
Both teams shot 42 percent from the field, but the Redhawks earned the win, 66-62.
The quarter scores were closed the entire way. Estelline-Hendricks scored 20 in the first to the Hawks 18 and then added 16 to CEs 15 in the second. At the half, the score was 36-33. In the second half, the Redhawks outscored the Hawks, 30-29 for the game.
Jackson Zwart and Jase Mousel teamed up to scored 16 points each. Jack Mousel scored 12 and Caden Zwart added 11.
Mousel led the rebounding with nine, J. Zwart made eight, C. Zwart made seven and Jack Mousel had six.
