ELKTON Hawks traveled to Elkton to face the Elkton-Lake Benton Elks on Thursday, January 23.
The girls team bombarded the Elks 67-12, and the boys team lost by five, 70-65.

Girls won 67-12, but no other stats were available by press time.
Boys
The boys fell to the Elks, 70-65 despite jumping out to a 19-13 first quarter lead and leading at the half, 37-32. ELB dumped 20 third quarter and 18 fourth quarter points while holding the Hawks to 28 points to get the win.
The Hawks effort was led by four players in double figures as the five starters never left the game.
Jackson Zwart scored 21, Jase Mousel, 18, Taylor Kreich 11 and Jack Mousel 10.
The Mousel brothers both had 10 rebounds each.
This week, the teams are in two doubleheaders, both on the road. They were to travel to Castlewood (boys will face the #1 Class B Warriors) and then DeSmet on Friday.
