Board has quick meeting

It was quick work at the December 9 Flandreau School Board meeting as the members cars were hardly even cooled off before all business of the meeting was conducted.
The board approved the hiring of Meika Kirschten as a paraprofessional in the Elementary School. She will begin on January 6, 2025 after the holiday break.
Approval was also given for the payment of stipends to Kortney Amdahl and Megan Severtson for teacher apprecenticeships and $100 to Amdahl for a Dakota State University field experience.
One calendar change was made. A previously scheduled January 29 early dismissal will now change to February 5 due to a conflict with the speakers schedule.
January 29 will be a regular 3 p.m. dismissal.
