Hawks fall in season opener to Baltic

BALTIC The Colman-egan Hawks took an opening season loss to Baltic on Thursday, Aug. 29. Baltic is ranked fifth in early season Class A polls.
The Hawks lost in three, 25-23, 25-17 and 25-21.
Brynlee Landis led the team with nine kills, four blocks and six digs. Finley Luze and Kaylee Voelker both had nine set assists and four kills.
Anna Zwart added seven kills and Luze made five blocks.
Leading in digs was Presley Luze and Voelker with seven each.
The team was to host Arlington on Tuesday and then face Estelline/Hendricks at Estelline on Thursday.
