Kicking off fall sports Olympic style

Flandreau Public Schools fall sports season has begun but just prior, the Flier Booster Club held its annual membership drive Sports Rally with an Olympic theme. Volleyball, football and cross country had a greased watermelon race in which the volleyball girls won, but only on a technically. The football team was first to finish, but didnt place the melon on the edge of the pool as instructed. Micah Otto and Olivia Peters are shown in the race.
