These boys will have to soon swing into their classrooms

Students and faculty will soon be back in the school buildings as the first day of school at both Colman-Egan and Flandreau is August 20. We caught these boys making the best of their final days of summertime playing backyard wiffle ball: Briggs Johnson, Brecken Johnson, Sawyer Witte, Evan Hoffman, Jett Ramsdell, Brody Johnson and Landon Peters. The middle schoolers spent several hours playing ball, then ran to the Flandreau Aquatic Center to cool off before returning for some of the neighbor ladys cookies and then more wiffle ball. Their attention did turn to tossing the football around for a while as well. But come next Tuesday, their attention will be required in the classroom. The school bell rings at 8:30 a.m. New staff at the Flandreau Public School is introduced on page 9 of this weeks issue. Open house at both Colman-Egan and Flandreau is this Thursday evening
