Heinemann announces candidacy for District 25 House

Leslie Heinemann, rural Flandreau, is pleased to announce his candidacy from District 25 for the South Dakota House of Representatives in the upcoming general election November 5, 2024.
Heinemann is a retired dentist who provided dental care for the communities of Flandreau and Dell Rapids for over 40 years. He previously served in the SD House from 2013 to 2018, the last 2 years in a leadership role as House Majority whip. He is excited for the opportunity to return to the SD House to represent the voters of District 25, which includes all of Moody County and the northern two thirds of Minnehaha County.
Dr Heinemann is a lifelong resident of South Dakota. He and his wife Libby have been married for 48 years. They have four children and 11 grandchildren.
