BROOKINGS An educational meeting on the “Article V Convention of States Resolution” will be held at the Brookings Public Library on July 25 from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the Cooper Room.
The Convention of States sees to call an Article V convention to propose amendments to the U.S. Constitution that would:
- Limit the scope, power and jurisdiction of the federal government
- Limit terms of office for federal officials, bureaucrats and Congress
- Impose fiscal restraints on the federal government
This meeting is free and open to the public.
