GROTON Flandreaus Madison Bushkofsky qualified for the State Class A Girls Tournament on Thursday as she tied for fifth shooting a 94 at the Region 1A meet in Groton.
The Fliers had one other golfer at the region tournament in Clara Klem. She came in 25th (120).
The Class A State Tournament will be held on June 3 and 4 and will take place at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls.
DELL RAPIDS Taylor Kreich will represent Colman-Egan at the Class B state boys golf meet to be held at the Brookings Country Club on June 3 and June 4. The Region 2B meet was held Monday, May 20 at the Rocky Run Golf Course in Dell Rapids. The top 20 golfers advance to state.
Kriech fired a 79 on the day. Blake Larson of Wessington Springs was the medalist with a 73.
Also golfing for the Hawks was Jack Whitehouse with a 91 and Holdyn Rentschler with a 101.
