Fliers do well at singing contest

These Flandreau High School choir students participated in the Solo/Ensemble Contest on March 11 at Augustana University in Sioux Falls. The students are directed by Mrs. Malerie Yeaton.

Second Photo A tenor and bass choir of front, Owen Kelm, Pedro Barona, Sam Quarles and Braxten Julson and back, Kaden Burshiem, Justin Haugen, Abe Streitz, Liam Knippling, Daniel Hobbie and Seth Alberts were superior for their performance of Nine Hundred Miles arranged by Douglas E. Wagner. Not pictured are Hayden Garcia, Candon Metcalf and Ben Kulm.
Third Photo Clara Kelm and Lyla Thompson were awarded a superior on their duet Down In The Valley To Pray.
Not pictured: Ben Kulm and Abe Streitz received a superior on their duet I Feel the Spirit and a girls trio also received a superior rating for their song, All The Pretty Little Horse sung by Miesha Pedraza-Felix, Amelia Pieper, Delilah Stading.
