Second screening of locally produced film

There will be another screening of the locally produced film, ELEVATE this next week in Brookings.
Letishia and Jonathan Kelley, of Kelley Creative Collective, first premiered their documentary last fall. The film profiles four local artists and changemakers living and working in Sioux Falls, SD Sonja Hernandez, Moses Idris, Taylor Yocum, and Kyrie Dunkley.
The Kelleys, which you likely have seen working around the area, especially profiling local athletes over the past few years, lives and works out of the Flandreau area.
The two partnered with the Sioux Falls Arts Council on the project, following the artists around for the better part of a full year. Their goal was to, amplify the voices of creatives and artists of color in the Metro Sioux Falls Area.
This additional screening opportunity is scheduled for March 5th at the South Dakota Art Museum. Admission is free and the film is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. The artists will be present immediately following for a Q & A session.
