Fliers, Hawks get big wins at MJE Classic Saturday in Colman

Both Flandreau and Colman-Egan win their games in the Michael J. Entringer Scholarship Classic Saturday in Colman.

The Fliers picked up win number four in the early season with a 59-42 victory over Class B number five Arlington.

Unofficially, Lily Klein had 21 points shooting 8 of 11 from the field. She gathered eight rebounds and had two blocks to be named the games MVP.
Claire Sheppard had 14 points, seven boards and six assists while Lizzie Pavlis put in 10 points, had seven rebounds and five assists. Sadie Iott also added 11 points in the winning effort.
The Fliers shot 44 per cent from the field and were 78 percent at the charity stripe.
Colman-Egan over Dells
Colman-Egan also won their contest, 48-31 over the Dell Rapids Quarriers.
Brynlee Landis was chosen the games MVP.

The Hawks moved their record to 4-1 on the season.
