Both Colman-Egan and Flandreau schools will be holding a vaccination clinic in the coming week to provide students with influenza vaccine.
Colman-Eganís will be held tomorrow (Thursday) the 10th, from 2:00PM to 7:00PM in conjunction with parent-teacher conferences. The Department of Health will provide vaccine for children aged 6 months to 18 years as well as making Tdap vaccine available at no cost to children 10-14 years of age who have not been previously vaccinated. Adults are also allowed to get the vaccine; the cost will be $20.
Flandreau will have Public Health at the school on October 15th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM, but final details have not been determined.
There will also be a flu shot clinice at the Flandreau Avera Medical Group on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost is $25 for those 18 and older. No cost to Medicare patients.
