Poker run to benefit Paul Hess is September 7

Brother Paulís Run, a fund raiser for Paul Hess, recently diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic and liver cancer will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7. This poker run will raise money to help cover the costs of medical bills.
Paul is a 1985 graduate of Flandreau High School, the son of John Hess and the late Marge Hess, and currently lives in Sioux Falls.
There will be stops in Hartford, Crooks, Chester, Dell Rapids, Trent and will end at the Flandreau Veteranís Center on 2nd Ave. in Flandreau. Registration will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 15, 1701 W. Legion Drive, Sioux Falls. Cost will be $10 a hand, no limit.
There will be free will donation feed following the run at the Flandreau Veteranís Center where 8 oz. top sirloin, burgers and hot dogs will be served. Salad and dessert donations are welcome. Please drop off at the Flandreau Veterans Center. There will be auctions items available and a drawing for a mini bike.
