MCHS Belgian waffle feed is this Sunday

The Moody County Historical Society will hold their Belgian Waffle feed on Sunday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the William Janklow Community Center. The menu will include waffles, sausage, eight flavored syrups and a drink. Advance tickets may be purchased for $6 or at the door for $7. Children five and under eat free. Tickets may be purchased at the Moody County Museum or from board members. Carry-outs will be available.





Join the “Brain Boosters” April 19 at Riverview Health

Want to exercise your mental muscle and impress your friends? Riverview Rehabilitation and Health Care Center will be hosting Round II of their "Brain Boosters Community Trivia" next Friday, April 19 at 2:30 pm. There's no topic off limits - from geography to politics, history to current events, sports to literature - you're bound to be an expert in something! The "competition" closes out with scrumptious treats and coffee, so your mental prowess will be richly rewarded.





4-H Club to host service learning project bake sale

The Happy Youngsters 4-H Club is holding a bake sale this Saturday in the lobby at Flandreau High School beginning at 8 a.m. and running until the food is gone. Most items cost 50˘. All funds raised will be used to purchase and distribute personal hygiene products in Moody County. This bake sale is being held during the Grade 5-8 Instrumental Solo Contest hosted by Flandreau Public School.
