Police Chief and Sergeant Resign

In a press release sent out by the city’s attorney Paul Lewis, Flandreau’s Police Chief Michael Eisenbarth and Sergeant Jesse Doyle have sent in their resignations to the City of Flandreau.

The press release states as follows: “On February 1, 2013, the City of Flandreau, in conjunction with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, accepted the resignations of Michael Eisenbarth and Jesse Doyle from their employment with the Flandreau Police Department.”

Flandreau will utilize an interim Police Chief from within the organization while they conduct a search for a permanent replacement.
